The adaptive enterprise software suite

Enterprise software that works from day one — and keeps adapting.

BetterWrk brings CRM, signing, people, payroll, finance and automation into one integrated operating environment. ProcessScout sees where work slows down, gathers feedback from users and helps BetterWrk configure, connect or build the improvement.

  • Ready-made applications
  • Shared data and permissions
  • Governed continuous improvement

What you are buying

Your team should use the software — not build it.

You are not handed an empty canvas, a workflow designer and a wish of good luck. You are handed working applications that already run the business, and a provider who stays accountable for them.

1

Ready from the start

Begin with complete business applications rather than an empty development environment.

2

Integrated by design

Customer, employee, contract and financial information moves across the suite through one shared operating model.

3

Adapted continuously

ProcessScout identifies friction and helps BetterWrk configure, connect or build approved improvements.

Traditional software is either ready-made or made-to-fit. BetterWrk starts finished and changes only what genuinely needs to be different.

The suite

One operating environment, not another collection of apps.

BetterWrk applications share identity, permissions, records, events and support. The customer sees one environment even when different specialised products are working underneath it.

The work, end to end

Follow the work from first contact to final payment.

Integration is not an architecture diagram. It is the moment nobody has to type the same thing twice. Pick a workflow and follow the record through it.

01 · Lead

BetterWrk CRM

An enquiry arrives

Customer record created

Source, owner and qualification are captured once and never re-typed.

02 · Proposal

CRM + Sign

Terms are drafted

Same customer record

Pricing, scope and approvals draw on the record rather than a new spreadsheet.

03 · Agreement

BetterWrk Sign

The customer signs

Agreement linked to customer

ProcessScout watches this handoff closely: it is where most businesses start re-keying.

04 · Onboarding

Automate + People

Delivery starts

Onboarding case opened

Signature triggers the onboarding sequence, owners and first tasks automatically.

05 · Revenue

BetterWrk Finance

The first invoice

Billing schedule from the agreement

Invoices follow the signed terms, so finance is not reconciling against a PDF.

01 · Offer

BetterWrk Sign

An offer is accepted

Candidate record

The signed offer carries role, start date, location and pay basis.

02 · Employee

BetterWrk People

The record is created

Employee record

No re-entry between recruitment and HR. The offer becomes the employee.

03 · Onboarding

BetterWrk Automate

Day one is prepared

Onboarding sequence

Access, equipment, policies and manager tasks run as one owned sequence.

04 · Time

People + Automate

Time and absence

Timesheet against employee

ProcessScout looks here for late approvals and repeated corrections before payroll closes.

05 · Pay

BetterWrk Payroll

Payroll runs

Same employee record

Country rules, filings and bank files run from the record, not a re-import.

01 · Activation

BetterWrk Sign

The agreement activates

Agreement + customer

Signature releases the scope, rates and billing schedule to the rest of the suite.

02 · Delivery

BetterWrk Automate

Work is scheduled

Delivery case

Owners, milestones and dependencies come from the agreed scope.

03 · Cost

People + Payroll

Time and cost land

Effort against delivery

The cost of delivery is visible against the contract while the work is happening.

04 · Invoice

BetterWrk Finance

The invoice is raised

Invoice from delivery

ProcessScout measures the gap between work completed and work billed.

05 · Cash

BetterWrk Finance

Payment reconciles

Payment against invoice

Collection, credit control and the ledger read the same record.

ProcessScout

ProcessScout sees where the system should work better.

ProcessScout observes interaction patterns and application events, asks users for feedback in context and links that evidence to business outcomes. BetterWrk then determines whether the right answer is training, configuration, integration or a new capability.

1

Observe

Repeated clicks, re-entry, errors, delays and abandoned workflows are identified.

2

Understand

ProcessScout asks the user what happened and connects the answer to the process and the affected records.

3

Improve

BetterWrk prepares the correct configuration, integration or controlled code change.

4

Verify

The improvement is tested, approved, released and measured against the original problem.

On workforce trust

ProcessScout improves processes and software. It is not designed to rank individual employee productivity. Read what ProcessScout collects, masks and retains.

From suggestion to released improvement

Feedback becomes a controlled product change — not another support ticket.

Six stages, every time. A user says something is hard, ProcessScout works out what is actually wrong, BetterWrk chooses the right intervention, and the correct owner decides whether it ships.

Illustrative sequence · not customer results

01 · User feedback I cannot tell which contracts need legal approval.

Given in the application, at the moment the problem happens.

02 · ProcessScout assessment The issue affects 14% of agreements and adds a median delay of 1.8 days.

The complaint is connected to real events and affected records, so the size of the problem is known before anyone builds anything.

03 · Proposed change Add automatic contract classification and route only high-risk agreements to legal.

BetterWrk selects the intervention: configuration, integration, training or new capability.

04 · Prepared and tested

Built in a controlled environment and validated against historical cases before anyone sees it in production.

42 tests passed Private to your organisation
05 · Approved by the owner

Sensitive areas require the named customer approver. Nothing material ships because an algorithm was confident.

Awaiting Legal Operations Feature gate: off
06 · Measured outcome Median approval time reduced by 31%.

Measured against the original problem. If it did not work, that is reported too, and the change can be rolled back.

The fit promise

Every approved critical requirement has an answer.

Before launch, BetterWrk records the critical requirements identified through the Fit Blueprint. Each requirement is supported natively, configured, integrated, built or explicitly accepted as an exception. There are no accidental gaps.

Every requirement gets one of five answers

Native Configured Integrated Built Accepted exception

The commitment

100% of approved critical requirements are accounted for and acceptance-tested before go-live.

An accepted exception is a decision recorded with you, not a gap discovered later. We do not claim your software will be perfect forever.

Governance

Adaptable does not mean uncontrolled.

Software that keeps changing raises a fair question: who is in control of the change? The answer is you, through four controls that apply to every material release.

Source-controlled

BetterWrk owns most core applications and maintains governed source access to the rest, so a fix is never blocked by someone else’s roadmap.

Tested

Material changes are linked to a requirement and pass automated and human review before they are eligible for release.

Approved

Sensitive changes to payroll, finance, permissions and contracts require the correct customer and BetterWrk approvals.

Reversible

Changes are feature-gated, monitored and capable of rollback. A release you dislike is a switch, not a project.

How customers start

Map the business. Launch the right system. Keep improving it.

No blind software commitment. The first step is a paid assessment that is worth having even if you never buy the suite.

01 — MAP

Trail Map

ProcessScout creates a Trail Map or Fit Blueprint showing where work breaks, what it costs and what should change.

This is a paid engagement with a written deliverable, not a sales call.

02 — LAUNCH

Launch

BetterWrk configures the applications, migrates data, connects workflows and prepares the initial customer-specific changes.

Scoped from the evidence in your Trail Map, then acceptance-tested against it.

03 — RUN AND IMPROVE

Run and improve

The BetterWrk applications and ProcessScout operate together, with a recurring allowance for approved improvements.

Unlimited feedback. An included allowance for approved customer-specific improvements.

Commercial routes

Subscribe to the environment — or buy the right to run it.

Two ways to hold the same environment. Most customers subscribe. Larger, regulated and portfolio buyers often want the licence.

Most customers

Adaptive Subscription

Lower upfront commitment, everything on a recurring basis.

  • Applications, ProcessScout and Managed Runtime billed recurrently
  • Included Fit Capacity for approved customer-specific improvements
  • Current releases and ongoing support
  • No separate maintenance contract to negotiate later

Larger, regulated and portfolio buyers

Buy + Assure

Buy the right to run the environment, subscribe to keep it current.

  • Upfront BetterWrk Operating Licence
  • Continuing ProcessScout, runtime, assurance and improvement subscription
  • Potential qualifying fallback operating rights
  • Self-hosting and customer-cloud options where they apply

Evidence

What a first year actually looks like.

We do not publish customer names, logos or testimonials until the customer has agreed to them and the numbers are measured. Until then, here is a complete worked example, labelled for what it is.

Illustrative BetterWrk workflow · not a customer result

A 180-person professional services business, contract to cash

Five systems, three of them spreadsheets. The contract was signed in one place, the project was set up in another, and the invoice was assembled by hand at month end from whatever the delivery team remembered.

The workflow
Signed agreement → project setup → time capture → invoice assembly → collection.
Operational baseline
Median 11 days between work completed and work invoiced. Around a fifth of invoices required a correction after issue.
Software before
A CRM nobody updated after signature, an e-signature tool with no downstream connection, two spreadsheets and an accounting package.
Modules deployed
BetterWrk Sign, CRM, Automate and Finance at launch. People and Payroll in the second phase.
Initial customer-specific changes
A rate-card structure their industry uses, and a partner approval step before any invoice above a threshold.
First ProcessScout improvement
Delivery leads were editing time entries days after the fact. The fix was not a report; it was moving capture into the delivery sequence itself.
Measured outcome
Days between delivery and invoice, and the rate of post-issue corrections, both tracked against the pre-launch baseline.
Time to value
Trail Map in weeks one and two, launch scope agreed by week four, controlled go-live in weeks nine and ten.

This example is constructed to show the shape of the work. It is not a customer case study and contains no measured customer results. Named customer stories will be published here once customers agree to them.
